SILO RESTAURANT

There was a strong concept to SILO in Brighton, the UKs first zero waste restaurant, and head chef Douglas McMaster wanted the interior to reflect this.

Using materials in abundance Baines&Fricker designed and made a pure and raw interior in keeping with the philosophy behind the food. Using readily available materials such as OSB and reusing old school desks they were able to create a strong and industrial aesthetic to complement the ideas behind the restaurant.
