Baines&Fricker are Steve Baines and Eliza Fricker, a Brighton based husband and wife design team who launched their company at 100% Design in 2011 where their Harris Tweed Rocker was a Blueprint finalist for Best New Product.
Baines&Fricker design and build bespoke interior spaces for commercial & residential clients, alongside producing their timeless furniture and accessories ranges, and now offering a new illustration & branding service.
Recent bespoke interiors projects include an office design & build for a Brighton design studio, retail spaces, and the interior of Silo; the UK’s first zero waste restaurant. We bring a fresh approach to the contract market, offering architects and specifiers design-led unique contract furniture solutions with a highly considered approach to every project undertaken.
The Baines&Fricker furniture range is practical, robust, simple and comfortable. The use of clean lines coupled with quality materials gives the designs a versatility which allows them to sit comfortably within the modern home or in contract environments, such as hotels and leisure, bars and restaurants, education, retail and offices.
Expanding on the popularity of our interiors accessories designs, the new Baines&Fricker illustaration and branding service offers businesses a unique opportunity to incorporate our distinctive illustration style into their own products and identity.
Our fundamental love of design drives all our services and products, we are passionate about what we do. All our furniture is designed and made from our Brighton workshop, we use British materials wherever possible and draw influences from a broad range of sources both in our immediate environment and across the country, from industrial architecture to street signs. We have a firm belief that the everyday and seemingly mundane can be worthy of admiration, and this is often apparent in our work.
